The Challenge:
Anyone who lives in the Okanagan knows that summer brings sunshine, warm temperatures and a LOT of company. This family wanted to be able to offer their guests a private guest house with a luxurious feel. It was important that the carriage home reflected the style and level of finish that they already had in the main house.
The Solution:
Build a carriage house! Their property offered enough space and had the zoning required by the city to be approved for a secondary dwelling. This high end guest cottage offers a full kitchen connected to the open concept living room, 2 bedrooms, den/office space, 2 bathrooms (one with a steam shower) and a 2 car garage.
Although we specialize in high-end renovations of existing homes, it was a pleasure to build this house from the ground up.
